How It Works – Your Step-by-Step Certification Experience

This is a 3-day live class held over Zoom. It’s completely interactive and designed to mirror an in-person experience—only more convenient and personalized.

đŸ‘©â€đŸ« What You’ll Need:

  • A mannequin

  • A tripod

  • A laptop with a camera, positioned so I can see each move you make

On my end, I’ll be set up the same way—with my own mannequin, tripod, and camera—so you can clearly see every step I take. This allows us to work side by side, in real time, just like we would in a hands-on workshop.

🎯 Real-Time Guidance:

You’ll have my full attention throughout the entire certification. I’ll be able to watch your technique closely and help you adjust finger position, body stance, or approach as needed. You won’t be guessing—I’ll be right there with you.

📘 Printable Workbook:

Before class, you'll receive a printable workbook that follows along with my screen shares. You’ll be able to review and revisit everything we cover during class, as many times as you like.

✂ Full Curriculum + 6 Haircuts:

Together, we’ll go through the entire Head Shape Matters curriculum and perform a total of six haircuts, ranging from long layers to a short pixie. You’ll watch me cut, I’ll watch you cut—it’s a two-way, fully engaged learning experience.

✅ Verbal + Technical Assessments:

  • On Day 3, we’ll do a verbal assessment to ensure you understand the HSM system.

  • After class, we’ll schedule your technical assessment, where you’ll receive a haircut image and formulate + execute it using the HSM method.

  • You’ll have up to 1 month to practice before this final assessment—plenty of time to build confidence and mastery.
